The Quest for Coolness: Exploring Pokémon’s Coolest Creatures
Getting a shiny Pokemon is pretty rare, like finding a needle in a haystack. It happens only about once in every 4,096 tries. That’s super tough, and even really dedicated players might never find one by chance.
But some players use a trick called “shiny hunting” where they spend lots of time looking for just one shiny Pokemon.
The Pokemon games keep getting more popular, and that’s not going to change anytime soon. Shiny Pokemon are still really cool and everyone wants them. So, we’re going to add more shiny Pokemon to our list.
Giratina
Giratina is a special Pokémon in the world of Nintendo and Game Freak’s Pokémon games. It was created by Ken Sugimori and made its first appearance in the games Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. But it became even more famous in Pokémon Platinum when it was chosen as the main character.
Some people see Giratina as a super powerful Pokémon, like a god! It’s the second Pokémon ever created, with Arceus being the first. Giratina is unique because it’s made of antimatter, and it can make black holes. Plus, it has a tricky move called Destiny Bond that can take down opponents, except for Arceus.
Giratina also has a cool shiny form, and its face looks awesome. Some folks thought Charizard was going to win, but Giratina is cooler in my book.
Giratina may look a bit unusual with its black and gold coloring and red stripes, but don’t let its appearance fool you—it’s super strong. The mix of gold and red looks great, especially with those black wings, gray accents, and all those spikes. It’s a pretty amazing Pokémon!
Mega Charizard X
Mega Charizard X is the cool, upgraded version of Charizard in the Pokémon X & Y games for Nintendo and Game Freak’s Pokémon world.
I used to think Charizard was as cool as it gets, but then I met this guy. Mega Charizard X is black and blue, and those are my two favorite colors! His blue flames are way cooler than regular orange ones, and those spikes on his shoulders? They’re super tough! Plus, he looks like he’s ready to take on the world.
When it comes to choosing between Mega Charizard X and Mega Charizard Y, I think Mega Charizard X is the winner. He deals just as much damage but doesn’t hurt himself in the process like Mega Charizard Y. And check this out—Mega Charizard X has these never-ending flames coming out of his mouth, which looks totally awesome!
Imagine this: a jet-black dragon that breathes blazing blue fire, can fly, demolishes everything, has horns, is super rare, and is crazy powerful! I mean, that’s pretty impressive, right?
I totally agree with you, and when Mega Charizard X evolves, he becomes a Dragon/Flying type Pokémon. I have Mega Charizard Y, but now I really wish I had Pokémon X or Pokémon Ruby to get Mega Charizard X too!
Mega Rayquaza
Mega Charizard X is seriously impressive. It doesn’t even need a mega stone to evolve – that’s pretty cool, right? But how did Mega Charizard X and Mewtwo become more popular than our favorite Pokémon?
I don’t get why Mega Rayquaza isn’t in the top 3. Most of the Pokémon ranked higher don’t look as good and seem like they didn’t put much effort into their design, like Gliscor, Scizor, and Weavile. Mega Rayquaza deserves to be in the top 3 without a doubt.
Actually, I think Mega Rayquaza is the absolute best Pokémon ever, and it should have been ranked first.
The colors are awesome, and all the extra details make it even more amazing!
Deoxys
Deoxys, known as the same name in Japan, is a Legendary Pokémon in Nintendo and Game Freak’s Pokémon world.
Deoxys is really cool! I love its normal, attack, and speed forms. The defense form isn’t my favorite, but the other forms totally make up for it!
In my book, Deoxys is the absolute best Pokémon, and nobody can convince me otherwise.
What sets Deoxys apart is that it’s the only Pokémon with four different forms, and it can even heal itself. You should watch the movie to see it in action!
Its design is incredibly cool, and it’s super strong (OP means overpowered). Plus, the fact that it can change its form is a big deal. One of its forms even makes it the fastest Pokémon of all!
Mewtwo
Mewtwo is a legendary psychic-type Pokémon from Nintendo and Game Freak’s Pokémon world. Ken Sugimori designed it, and it made its first appearance in Pokémon Red and Blue. Scientists created Mewtwo by mixing genes, trying to clone another Pokémon called Mew. In the Pokémon games, it’s famous for being the most powerful Pokémon. Mewtwo can also evolve into two different forms – Mega Mewtwo X (by using Mewtonite X) and Mega Mewtwo Y (with Mewtonite Y).
Mewtwo’s design is just awesome. That dramatic pose gets me all excited. I’m pretty sure it’s the most powerful, but even if it’s not, it definitely wins the award for the coolest design.
Sorry, Arceus, but I don’t care what anyone says—Mewtwo is still the king of all Pokémon, and every true Pokémon fan knows it! Remember when having a Mewtwo made you the coolest kid in class? Well, there’s a good reason for that. Mewtwo, you’re a legend, literally.
You can’t beat that combination of white, purple, and dragon-like design. Mewtwo is the champion of the best-looking Pokémon, and it’s a psychic powerhouse. Plus, Mewtwo can transform into super powerful forms, kind of like a psychic Saiyan.
Mewtwo was the first legendary Pokémon ever. Everything about Pokémon’s first generation is amazing. Giovanni, Green, Red, and of course, Mewtwo. It’s pretty mind-blowing that this powerful creature came from Mew.
Yveltal
Yveltal is a made-up creature in the Pokémon world. It came into the scene during the 6th generation of Pokémon games. Yveltal is a legendary Pokémon with Dark and Flying abilities, and it’s the star of Pokémon Y. They call it the “Destruction Pokémon” because it can suck the life energy out of stuff. When it’s time for Yveltal to take a nap, it steals life energy from everything around and turns into a cocoon for 1,000 years. Its special move, Oblivion Wing, is a flying attack that hurts the other Pokémon and makes Yveltal feel better by 75% of the damage it causes.
Guess what? I can draw Yveltal, and I know how to draw Xerneas too! Yveltal is just too cool not to draw. Seriously, folks, this Pokémon is super cool! It’s like a life-sucking, cool dude who takes care of the annoying Pikachu. (By the way, I really dislike Xerneas because it brings Pikachu back to life. So frustrating!)
Yveltal is the absolute best! It should be ranked number one. It’s like a gigantic bird of doom. When I showed Yveltal to my little brother, he couldn’t take his eyes off it, and he had drool coming out of his mouth for a whole day!
I mean, it’s a death bird—can you get any cooler than that? As for Arceus, most people who voted for it probably did so because it’s super powerful and kind of the boss of all Pokémon.
Let’s be real here, Yveltal is one of the COOLEST things you’ve ever seen, not just among Pokémon but in general. Can anything top this epicness?
Absol
Absol is a creature from the Pokémon world, and it first appeared in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. Later on, in Pokémon X and Y, as well as Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, it got even cooler with a Mega Evolution.
How can you not love it? Absol’s demeanor is both cool, beautiful, and majestic. Even when the world turns its back on Absol, it still fights to protect us, and it does it with style, like an angel. And let’s not forget about its Mega Evolution…
I’d describe it as a stunning angel of disaster. It’s regal and tough-looking at the same time—how can you not adore this magnificent creature? Absol’s grace and that alpha-wolf appearance definitely earn it a top spot on this list.
If you look into those eyes, you can sense that this Pokémon would defend you with everything it has, that it would stick by your side through life’s toughest moments, and that it understands how you feel.
The entire art style just screams “COOL” in icy flames. It’s like a mysterious angelic dog.
Gliscor
Gliscor, also known as Glion in Japan, is a Pokémon in Nintendo and Game Freak’s Pokémon world.
Look at it! Gliscor is like a giant scorpion, and it seriously looks like it could grab a steel bar and snap it in seconds. What more can I say?
I like to call Gliscor “Wizard Man.” I’ve loved Gliscor ever since I first saw it.
It’s like a scary mix of a bat and a crab that could give you chills just thinking about it.
And that pose it strikes? Pretty funny, if you ask me!
Scizor
Scizor, known as Hassam in Japan, is a Pokémon in Nintendo and Game Freak’s Pokémon world. It’s unique because it’s both a Bug and Steel type and first appeared in the Gen 2 games, Gold and Silver, back in 1999.
Scizor takes everything that’s awesome about Scyther’s design and adds a unique twist. It’s also one of the trickiest Pokémon to obtain, especially in Gen 7, and it’s a real beast in battles. Its attack power often outshines its HP!
This Pokémon looks absolutely amazing. I believe it deserves to be among the top 5 because it not only looks cool but also has fantastic stats!
Scizor happens to be my favorite. I’m mostly drawn to its design and its ability to perform well in competitive battles. I’ve never had one on my team, but I really want to catch one someday.
With its sleek design and striking red coloring, combined with its outstanding combat skills, Scizor is the epitome of cool.
Bisharp
I definitely think it’s better than Gliscor, but I’m not completely convinced it should be ranked as number one.
It would be awesome if it had a special ability like “Rough Skin.”
When it comes to Pokémon designs, this one is hands down the coolest; there’s just no competition.
I mean, just look at that axe blade on its head—super cool, right?
